Vardis is proud to support The Watermill Group and Quality Metalcraft (QMC) in the appointment of Dwight Closson as Senior Vice President of Operations.
Dwight comes to QMC most recently from Midway Products where he had been employed since 2005 and was responsible for seven Tier 1 manufacturing plants producing Body, Chassis and Powertrain products for the automotive industry.
Dwight's experience in running multiple plants, Lean Manufacturing and 5S will be a great addition to the QMC/EMI team as they strive for operational excellence. Reporting to Dwight will be Plant Operations, Materials, Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering and Lean Continuous Improvement.
